My husband will be losing his job and our family medical insurance coverage in the next few days. Cobra is ridiculously expensive and I don’t have medical insurance available through my job. We’re trying to make sure we have major medical coverage until one of us can land a position with benefits again. After a quick look at the exchange, it doesn’t look like that is going to be a financial option for us either. I’ve been searching for family plans outside the exchange, but am finding a lot of scammers and some terrible deals. Anyone have suggestions of the best places to look for legit insurance plans?
