Hey guys so I have an illness called CVID (Common variable immune deficiency) and the treatments I have to get weekly are quite expensive. This hasn’t been an issue until recently but my mom lost her job at an insurance company where her benefits were phenomenal. I’m a couple months from turning 23 and figure this a good time to get off of her insurance.
I currently work for a very small company that has been open for about a year and does not offer health insurance and when they do I’m going to kill their rate so I’ve been thinking about either picking up a part time job just for benefits or just finding a new job all together. I’m not sure if there’s certain companies where my out of pocket will be less or if there’s certain insurance companies I need to be looking for when getting a new job. Just looking for suggestions. Any help is greatly appreciated TIA
