I have CIGNA open access plus, and I have had several abdominal CT scans in the past year at a popular hospital in my area.
Today CIGNA called me and told me they do not cover that hospitals facilities for this abdominal CT scan anymore.
When I asked the representative why, she gave me a long convoluted answer about how CIGNA approves certain procedures at certain locations.
But I told her that I’ve had several abdominal CT scans at this specific hospital location just this past year, and they approved it with no problem.
What can I do?
