Wife found out this week that her employer is changing to Magnacare, effective 8/1. The current OBGYN she has been seeing for the past 8 months does not take Magnacare. I searched reviews about the insurance and have not gotten anything good. One quote I found on Twitter ” if your job provides magnacare as your health insurance they want you to die” which is making me very worried.
I can’t add her to my insurance from work, only my children. We live in NYC and have been searching for a reliable doctor/hospital but I’m not sure if they will take someone new so close to their due date. I don’t know what to do. Any advice is much appreciated.
