I was hoping this is the right place to get some insight.
Having not had to buy health insurance in the last 6 years, this is my first time applying for health insurance during open enrollment.
#1 I’ve chosen our plan, received a quote from Anthem and have been attempting to apply for days now. But I continuously get an error on the identification page:
” Request is malformed, please correct the data and try again: invalid_request ” and it wants me to go through Healthcare.gov
I’ve called Anthem and their tech team on numerous occasions and they’re basically not helpful.
Is anyone encountering this? Has anyone has trouble applying for insurance directly through an insurance provider?
#2 This brings the question: Can you actually apply for insurance directly from the provider?
Or am I forced to apply through that state marketplace – in my case NV Healthlink?
