Getting insurance in the middle of a move

My Fiance and I moved from CA back to MA towards the end of 2020. During that period I also was moved from full time to contract work and lost health insurance. Moving during a pandemic got the best of me and I let the issue of getting open market insurance fall to the back of my to-do list and now I am in a bit of a pickle. I am uninsured and self employed, and we are living with family so I do not have supporting documents to establish residency yet. We are about to sign a lease but I am worried that 10 days is not enough time for me to get supporting documents, get MA residency, and then get open market insurance. Can I get California open market insurance and then transfer it to MA ? I have never had to get open market insurance before and I am confused by the deadlines

Thanks in advance
