I was unemployed and as such, qualified for Medi-Cal. I got a job and won’t qualify anymore.
I enrolled into a new medical plan which says insurance starts covering today but I did not get a card or number. I’m assuming I can ask HR for it on Monday.
My question, until then, what should I do? Should I cancel Medi-cal ASAP?
Just worried that if something happens I won’t have insurance
Is there a penalty for having an overlap? I’m sure there’s a grace period
