Health Insurance Premium Doubling

Hi! My husband has been a manager at a company for almost six years now.

In 2018, to add my 2nd child it was $694/month. We have renewed every year.

My husband was automatically enrolled again in August with no statements or paperwork.

His boss’s wife just informed us two days ago that we would now pay an extra $150/wk on top of what we pay. ($306/ total a week). Making it out to be almost 16k/year in premiums.

We are being told there is nothing we can do.

We have looked into Obamacare, which is not much better.

We can not afford 16k/year and I am not sure what we can do.

I work PT. If I were to find a job that provides Healthcare, could we drop from his plan?
