I (17F) am in desperate need of dental work. My face is swelling up from a tooth infection (perhaps an abscessed tooth?), I need several fillings and a root canal and a bunch of other stuff. My parents do not have insurance. I live in Florida, work as a hostess at a restaurant and get paid biweekly (about $400 per paycheck). I have applied for Cigna’s 1500 plan but my plan technically won’t start until March 1st.
I don’t know that I’ll be able to last that long with an abscessed tooth. Do I have any other options?
