Hey guys, I’m on mobile so apologies for any weird typos or something. I’m 18 right now but I turn 19 at the end of January, from my understanding and research, Medicaid for children expires when they turn 19 in Missouri. I need a new healthcare plan for myself as I have asthma and need inhalers but I’m also on birth control and would like to keep taking my patches. I also have a significant family history of breast cancer so I have to get my breasts checked regularly. I make about $13-14k a year working part time since I’m also a student. Im pretty sure that means I would qualify for Medicare or Medicaid or some form of affordable healthcare but I really don’t know how to go about this. My mom is a foreign immigrant so she doesn’t really understand anything either so I can’t rely on her for help or advice. What plans do you want guys suggest and how do I apply for them? I’m pretty clueless about these things so all help is appreciated. Plans including affordable dental and eye are also super appreciative.
