Hey all, I’m looking at low-cost health insurance options in Georgia and was checking Sidecar Health. It looked good to me except for the fact that the indemnity benefit amounts seem unreasonably low.
For example, it says services in an urgent care should cost $43 and the plan will pay $34. If that were true, it would be a good deal. But from my experience and if you Google urgent care market costs, they are typically from $100 to $200. I looked at other services and they all pretty much seemed like that.
Would like to know if anyone has any thoughts on this issue and can maybe tell me if I’m misunderstanding something.
