I just switched to my own insurance last year and went to get my bloodwork done in December. I got my bill and everything but vitamin D was covered. The cost on the bill for vitamin D was $264 (I’ll never be testing for this again lol). That is what the bill says I owe (nothing covered). When I go on the quest website, it allows me to create my own blood work test and the cost of the vitamin D is $69 plus a $10 physician fee. Why is my charge so much more expensive?
