26M Travel nurse about to start contract in California, should I take employer based plan?

I’ll be starting a short 7 week contract in California from May-June. The agency offers a ppo BCBS plan and I’m wondering if I should take it and if I’ll Be eligible for cobra after this short assignment? There’s also a 2 week break in between so a 3 week contract, 2 weeks off, then a 4 week contract.

I live in Ohio and there are no PPO plans on the marketplace. I’ve gotten calls from UShealth but that doesn’t really seem like real Insurance and I don’t feel too comfortable with that based on their reviews.
