As the title says, I’m 31m, healthy, unemployed, renting an apartment in Texas while trying to figure out where to live (California? Tennessee? Hawaii?), so I don’t know what to get.
I’d like to be able to use my insurance broadly across the US, as I travel around to figure out where I’ll be putting down roots, with hopes for international travel in 2021 if a vaccine comes through, but I’m wondering if that’s too much to ask for and if I should just do a minimal plan and contribute to an HSA.
I’m in a fortunate financial position that I’m not terribly worried about a huge hit, a nice high deductible plan would be preferable to a low deductible imo.
Any thoughts on what’s reasonable for someone in my case?
