Hello, I have been receiving my annual exams, STD testing, and pap smears from Family Planning for years now on the same insurance. I have never received a bill as this is my free yearly physical, labs included. I received a letter from a lab in KANSAS. (I live in NH.) The amount is $245 for the three tests and they are threatening collections. The lab is Cytocheck from a Dr. Leonard who I obviously have never heard of. What recourse do I have here? I am under an employer based Cigna plan if that matters. The tests are Gonnorhea screen, Chlamydia screen, and ‘C/V Thin Layer’.
