I’m a college student in NYC and I just recently had to get off my parents health insurance plan and haven’t gone to the doctor without insurance before. For those who also recently got off their parents insurance or are also uninsured, what is your experience before and after your appointment? Not sure if I have to bring any extra paperwork or what’s the best way to pay for appointments and keep track of it since my parents were responsible for all that. Thanks for any advice you have.
