I recently lost my job and for the month of March, I decided to keep my health insurance through Cal-COBRA (I am in California) through my previous employer. With the new relief bill, it states that all health insurance paid through COBRA will be paid by the government, but my health insurance (Blue Shield) is still trying to figure out it that applies to Cal-COBRA too. I was going to change health insurance at the end of the month because it is too expensive, but if I can get it for free then i obviously want to keep it. Is anyone else in a similar position and have heard something from their insurance? Thanks!
