Hi all- I applied for Medi-Cal and was approved in the past month. I haven’t received any other information except a letter saying that I was approved for Medi-Cal benefits. I called my county HHS office today to find out how I enroll and if I was supposed to receive any further information she directed me to the California Health Care Options Page. When I type my information in there it gives me this message “You do not qualify for plan enrollment at this time. But, you may choose a plan and provider for future enrollment.”. Does anyone know what this means? I thought California had rolling open enrollment but is that not the case? Do I need to go back to my county HHS office to ask them why this is happening? I would appreciate any information. I am dealing with some health issues and am without any coverage at the moment.
