So, I had a few minor Covid type symptoms but some people who were high risk were planning on seeing me / my family. So, I decided to take a Covid test. I had no idea there was even a charge for Covid tests in my area because that’s what the test center indicated. As it turns out, there is and there’s a $500 charge that my insurance won’t cover. What are my options here?
Needless to say, I’m fairly shocked at this and a little upset that this scenario is even possible in a pandemic. I only took the test to benefit others and it seems like the best thing to do is irresponsible. Because, on a side note, once I had taken a test I had to 1. lie about it or 2. cancel about 7 different appointments / meetings / vet visits I had scheduled.
