Hey fellow people,
I live in AL and I recently go married and got a new job but the insurance they offer seems like a rip off and with the price of it, I feel like I might as well start looking at other options I can enroll in myself. The only issue is that I have no clue where to go or where to start.
I have some underlying conditions (epilepsy, and a rare heart condition but it doesn’t require a pacemaker). Everywhere I have tried to look seems like I cant apply right now or the enrollment period is over but I need insurance so I can finally go to see a doctor.
Does anyone know where I could start? Any links or ideas would be so helpful.
also, the plan my company offers has a $5,000 deductible and costs around $99 a month and that seems outrageous.
All ideas are helpful. Thank you in advance
