My husband needs to have surgery, which involves a few different providers. We are very close to our deductible and I had to prepay half of the remaining deductible to the doctor performing the procedure, but a few visits that we’ve paid to other places aren’t processed yet. If we’ve overpaid, do I request refunds from the newer date of service or newer claim date? I’ve noticed that a lot of the claims aren’t submitted in the order of service.
