I’m having a hard time deciding to choose core or enhanced. My primary concern is labs/ ultrasounds as I’m currently pregnant. It would make sense to go for the most expensive plan (enhanced), but core is $300/ less a month. Similar benefits. Core deductible is $1500 family and 10% coinsurance charge for labs/ imaging….. enhanced deductible is $500 family then no charge for labs/ imaging.

My current plan (before I go on my husbands plan) is similar to his enhanced plan. $500 deductible and no charge for labs/ imaging after deductible is met.

The reason I’m confused is I’ve been going in for labs/ ultrasounds quite frequent and it’s 100% covered and I haven’t met my $500 deductible yet. Really there isn’t any rhyme or reason it seems. I thought everything needs to be paid 100% until I hit the $500 deductible.

How do I find out if labs/ ultrasounds are covered? If that’s the case the core plan to save $300/ month would make sense right?
