I have to pick up medication today from CVS. It’s urgent as it will help me eliminate a migraine I’m currently experiencing.
My concern is that we are in the process of switching health insurance. We will be covered under new insurance and it is being backdated to October 10. We will be with Aetna. We do not have health insurance cards and it has not even been pulled from our paycheck yet.
We tried to call Aetna and they couldn’t find us in their system. We also tried to call the HR department. My husband’s new job is with the federal government. We can’t reach a person to help us.
Should I use my old health insurance card when I go to pick up my medication? I haven’t canceled the health insurance yet but when I do it will be backdated to October 10. I’m concerned because we are already past that date.
