Help Me Deciding

I’ve always been low income and never needed to worry about insurance in New York. Recently I graduated and got t job, now me and my spouse make $100k+ combined.

My spouse works part time and her insurance is Healthfirst, she loves it. She needs frequent visit to doctors.

I’ve Metroplus essential plan and it’s enough for me, as I barely see doctor. We are newly married and out insurance is not combined it.

Now, i got the job and my employer offers insurance, where for basic i’ll pay around $100 and for premium $200 from per pay check. It offers only Aetna or UnitedHealth, not our previous ones Metroplus and Headfirst respectively.

My wife doesn’t wanna change her insurance bc she worries if that doesn’t cover all her doctors, she needs them.

For me, I dont care bc I barely see doctors.

Now, do I MUST include my spouse with me on insurance, or we keep it separate? Should i pick basic or premium? Which could be best if we plan to get pregnant sometime soon?

Note: we do and will do joint tax filing? Any expert to guide us?
