Wanting to add my mom to my health insurance plan

So, I recently left LA and moved closer to my parents in northern CA and bought a house. I am single and make about 150k a year. Money is not a concern but it’s a concern at times. I struggle financially still from old debt. Recently my mom was admitted to the hospital for heart, liver and lung failure. Since my dad is self employed, my mom is on Medicare which is a joke. My older sister is an RN and thinks my mom needs a pacemaker ASAP to extend her life. I agree. My mom is not fat or unhealthy, she just has bad genes and a negative outlook with untreated diabetes. I have committed myself to showing her how to enjoy life and see the endless possibilities for happiness while also making sure she is on top of her insulin. I want to add her to my health insurance so she can get my benefits (chiropractor, acupuncturist, etc). I know she has to be my dependent and I am okay with her moving in with me since my dad isn’t the best caretaker. I left LA to be closer anyways. My question is what are some suggestions on the best way to do this? I know corporations can be strict about it and I certainly don’t want to screw my dad in any way either. If I benefit from her being my dependent, I will help my dad with the extra money. I’m not concerned about money. Also, I would love suggestions on how to deal with my sisters. They are present but not really present. It is still falling on me.
