I become eligible for Medicare (and automatically enrolled in Part A/B) on Dec 1st. I also have a doctor’s appointment scheduled for Dec 2nd. Is this a problem or going to create an issue with insurance? Can the provider do the insurance submittals now despite me not having Medicare until the day before the appointment? I can’t move my Medicare enrollment up or my appointment back so I’m trying to get ahead of this so I don’t create a mess of payments and approvals.
