I’m told that I can ask the doctor to provide prior authorization and if it’s denied by insurance then I can submit a petition for approval with a statement from the doctor that the procedure is preventative.
Any other options for when insurance covers the medication that reduces the symptoms, but not the procedure that eliminates them altogether?
