Does a hospital stay over the last week of the year and first week of the next year count towards deductible and out of pocket maximum for both years?

[link] [comments]I went to the ER on Dec 30th and ended up being admitted to hospital until Jan 2nd. Does this mean my charges will be spread over two calendar years and I could have to pay the full deductible and out of pocket maximums for both years or will all charges be for last year based on the date I was admitted?
