I ordered them 3 weeks ago. I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 7 yrs old, have high myopia and my work involves reading over 8 hrs a day from a computer screen which is strenuous for my eyes – which is why when selecting frames I pay a lot of attention to comfort and fit (I spent 1.5 hrs actually selecting 2 pairs – sunglasses and regular) and found some that fit perfectly.
When it came back from the lab with lenses installed I looked like the bridge and edges got bent/re-adjusted and it became too wide and loose for me. The guy helping me took it to adjust it and brought it back with the temple edge curved way too much. The arms looked completely bent out of shape and both pairs – sunglass and regular- wouldn’t fit in their cases anymore.
The problem is – he adjusted it incorrectly. Instead of first correcting the bridge and then arms, he directly over-curved the temple edges way out of shape to correct for all points of error.
I don’t want to take these glasses anymore since I paid a lot for them and they damaged it even before I got it. Now the problem is the guy who adjusted it is gaslighting me saying I picked glasses that were too wide for me and if it has to fit me he had to bend it that way so it can either fit correctly on my face or in the case. It actually was wasn’t too wide when I tried them on before it was sent to the lab – I spent a lot of time picking frames that perfectly fit and were comfortable and I’ve been wearing glasses for over 20yrs – I know how to pick frames.
What options do I have if they don’t agree to replace it at no extra cost? I already paid for these.
