Question regarding insurance and qualifying life changing events. My husband has been with the same employer for years. We signed up for Marketplace and have had nothing but problems. We are wanting to cancel it ourselves and go back on employer offered insurance. Is that considered a life changing event? He has called HR 2x and I have called once. They are saying loosing marketplace insurance is considered life Changing. We have repeatedly a million ways and said it was voluntary. HR said there was no specification. I’m freaking out if we cancel marketplace we can’t go back on if HR denies. Anyone have a similar situation?
