I’m new to the whole “paying my own health insurance” thing and have been fortunate enough to have been on my parents’ plan for my 22 years of life. Now, however, my income would disqualify them from their coverage so of course I’ll be joining my employer’s Cigna $2,500 OAP plan which is $130/month. Does anyone have experience with this specific coverage? Should I shop the market for something else?
Employer reimbursement: $2,000 Deductible: $2,500 Office copay: $25 Specialist copay: $40 Inpatient/outpatient hospital visits: 80% coverage
TIA
Edit: I’m 22, in CT (06117), and making around $90k
