So my taxable income is going to amount to about $10,800 for 2021, and I think I estimated that it would be around $15,000 when filing for insurance plans through the ACA.
The poverty line for one person appears to be $12,880 for 2021, and I’ve read that if you’re below the poverty line, you qualify for Medicaid and shouldn’t sign up for ACA plans.
So, when I file my taxes this year, what exactly is going to happen? I’m enrolled in another ACA plan this year with a subsidy, and unlike last year I should make $15-$16k in taxable income. Will the fact that I made under the poverty level affect my plan this year? Will I lose coverage or my subsidy?
