I’m considering starting a new job with an employer who only offers health insurance in the form of a co-pay plan and through a health sharing ministry. Obviously not ideal at all, but I was considering just getting on an HMO since there’s some decent plans for very little. The problem is, I’m not sure whether the plans offered by my employer would interfere with me getting a tax credit towards an HMO.
Can anyone enlighten me on this? I don’t want to end up paying a ton of money by the next tax season because I signed up for something that I wasn’t actually qualified for.
