POS vs EPO w/HDHP?

Gonna try to ask this more simply:

I have a choice between a POS or an EPO HDHP at my work. Both are 100% covered by my work, so monthly costs aren’t an issue. Also the deductible for both is around the same.

I’m a reasonably healthy younger person, so I see a lot of sites recommending the EPO w/ HDHP plans since I don’t need to go to the doctor as often. But the idea of not having ANY out-of-network coverage terrifies me, so I’d kind of rather have that extra security blanket.

So, with monthly costs and deductibles equalized, is a POS generally better than an EPO, or not?

Also, I’m pretty sure I’ve heard that POS has a larger in-network than EPOs do, is that correct?

Thanks!
