I have Blue Cross Blue Shield NC. According to my policy mental health is covered with a $10 copay. I have pretty great insurance through my employer. However I was just charged the full price for my therapy even though it’s covered under my policy because insurance denied my claim. I’m already 4 sessions deep and if I have to pay full price I’m basically screwed. I don’t understand because I specifically called insurance and my therapist to confirm my copay and how much each session would cost. What do I do?
