The dermatologist said that if they did the surgery to remove it there, that it would leave a noticeable scar. They suggested that she get the cyst removed at a plastic surgery place, and referred us to one. They said they should take our insurance.
My wife just called the plastic surgery place and they said the consultation is covered, but the surgery might not be.
Is there anything we can do if insurance says they don’t cover it? The cyst is dead center on her cheek, and she is really worried about having a scar there.
She is on Blue Shield CA PPO through her work.
