Advice about in/out of network.

Howdy,

I’m currently trying to have oral surgery done, and it’s been such a hassle to try to get it covered. The procedure I’m trying to have done is a covered medical (not dental) benefit. It’s about $2000, and my out of network deductible is $2500. My in network is only $750. I’m hoping to only pay the in network. The only problem is that there isn’t a single in network provider in the entire state (MT). I tried calling to see if there was a way to send a appeal to only pay the in network price, but the agent I spoke to said that there specifically is no exceptions when it comes to oral surgery. Is there anything else I can do to try to get this covered with the in network deductible? It just feels like such BS that they don’t have a single in network provider for something as common as oral surgery. If I knew this I probably would have just continued going without insurance. :/
