Need some advice here. Back in February I went to local medical office in my college town and got an STD/STI test as I was experiencing some concerning symptoms (lol). I have Kaiser Permenente insurance, but there is no Kaiser hospital within reasonable distance to my college town. I thought that Kaiser would cover the costs of my tests. I was dead wrong, and received a bill for almost $1000 dollars. Kaiser refused to pay any of it. Am I just screwed here? I’m going to try to send in an appeal but honestly from reading other peoples stories I’m not sure if theres any chance of that working. Any advice will be greatly appreciated! thanks.
