I recently got my wisdom tooth pulled and just received the claim’s EOB. Submitted charge is $449 and considered charge is $153, with 80% coverage and $50 deductible the total benefit paid is only $82.40. Does this mean my dentist is charging way above the expected cost of the service according to the insurance? Or is it my insurance that’s horrible?
