I’ve recently been kicked off my parents health insurance due to turning 26. I applied for Kentucky Medicaid about a month ago but was denied because apparently “I don’t live in Kentucky”. I’ve been here for the majority of 2021. Today I plan on calling and see if I can reapply with someone on the phone and provide any info I need, but now I’m curious if I even qualify. I currently have no source of income, and I’m living with my boyfriend. He barely makes anything and doesn’t have health insurance either. Can you get Medicaid with no income? If I’m unable to get Medicaid what do I do next? I have a heart arrhythmia and have to be prescribed a certain medication to control it, so I’m really worried about not being able to see a doctor.
