My mom is 66 and currently has Medicaid in NY. Now that she’s over retirement age she has a retired spousal support plan kicking in from her ex-husband (my dad, who is deceased). She said she believes she is losing her medicaid because with the retired spousal support kicking in she will be above the income limit for medicaid. So now she needs medicare, but she’s worried about making sure she has the right coverage. Are there any resources or recommendations? I know 0 about this and she’s too frazzled to think clearly and handle it herself. Thanks
