My wife is still young enough to be on her mother’s insurance, and she will be covered on her mother’s insurance when she has the baby. That insurance will cover her maternity related care, but the baby, a dependent of a dependent, can’t be added to the policy.

Which insurance covers the baby’s delivery care? The mother’s or mine? I hear that the mother’s insurance covers the baby for 30 days, but I’m not sure if that applies here.
