Hello everyone! For over 10 years I have had a Blue Cross Blue Shield MA PPO with a 1k in network deductible and 2k out of network deductible. This year they took ALL of the PPO’s down from their website and did not offer them as renewal options to current subscribers unless you CALLED directly. My plan is being changed from a 2k out of network deductible to 5k!! And 1k in network deductible to 2k!! I plan to file an appeal and write to grievance. Has anyone else encountered a similar situation and had success? Obviously a purely business move to raise the threshold of out of network coverage so high that very few will ever reach it, thus negating the point of having a PPO. Thank you so much!
