I realized a day before the enrollment period for the ACA ended that my previous student health insurance was going to expire. I had little options and got stuck Bethany Basic which is part of the Joppa Health Share plan. Strata Health Group is also part of this somehow.
Well I tried to get prescription medication and it isn’t covered. I then called my old doctors and they said they don’t consider what I have insurance. The plan that I have, is it worth anything? Should I just cancel and find something else. In the meantime I’m using Good RX.
I’m trying to start my own business so I have no access to any employer provided health plan. I’m in New York btw, 10017, age 28 and my income is zero. I have savings that I’m using to start my business, but it hasn’t generate a dime yet.
