I’m in open enrollment with my job and not sure what I should do. I’ve had BS HMO trio this year but I am diagnosed with a rare joint disorder in my jaws that I will need extensive surgery for. It may need total joint replacement of the jaw as it’s resorbing.
The deductible for the PPO is $2500 with OOP maximum at either $5000/$5500. Is it a no brainer to go for the PPO at this point? I have to make sure I hit the deductible before insurance can pay right? How do people plan it out to make sure they hit their deductible?
