My 77 year old Father had a severe case of Sepsis over Christmas, and an ambulance took him to the hospital. He received the $3,913.94 ambulance bill today. His primary insurance, Cigna, covered $917.67, leaving him with a balance of $2,996.27. Will California Medicare pay any part of this bill? My Dad lives off Social Security ($1400 per month). I’d like to see if we can get this bill reduced before he sets up a payment plan.
