I am 20 years old and still using my parent’s insurance (BCBS). This parent is completely against any and all vaccines, especially the COVID vaccines.
While it isn’t mandatory to provide your insurance information, I have heard that they can find and bill your insurance regardless.
Will filing a confidential communication request prevent this information from reaching my parent? Do CCRs prevent the policyholder from receiving EOBs? Will my parent know that I filed a request? Does the location/company from which I receive my vaccine have any bearing on this?
