I am 22 yrs old and moving from Mass to NYC. I’m currently covered my my family’s Masshealth. The job I will have in NYC is part time and does not offer insurance. Am I able to stay on my family’s plan if I return to MA for all doctor/dentist visits? Or do I need to find a new plan in NYC?
If the latter- in what order do I make the transition? I have prescription medication that I cannot go without, and I do not want there to be a period of time when I am uninsured.
Any help/advice is appreciated.
