Hello , I have been on workers comp for a year and a half and my cobra ends in 3 weeks . I am not eligible for the extension because my company is private and they dont have to offer anything past 18 months. I applied for the marketplace/healthcare.gov but I dont qualify because I cant claim my workers comp as income so it appears as though I do not have any income. While I don’t make much it is something .
Has anyone experienced this ? I paid a lot for cobra and can’t continue pay out of pocket. I do not qualify for medicaid or medicare (I’m under 65). Not having insurance is not an option right now. Are there any options that I’m missing ?
