COBRA Insurance & IVF

This is a pretty specific situation but would love some insight. Currently working for a company out of Illinois and looking to move to Tennessee and leave that job to work for myself. However, we are also about to go through IVF which is covered by my current health insurance through work. My wife has already been working with a facility in TN and our insurance is in network and has covered almost everything. I know that I can get COBRA post resignation, but I’m wondering if, by officially moving to a state that doesn’t mandate infertility treatment coverage, that I would lose that benefit by leaving Illinois even though I’d have the same insurance. Not sure how this all works so any insight would be great.
